The Red River Valley Fair will host the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention and fireworks show, which is one of the largest firework shows in the world.
The shows will take place on Sunday, August 6, Tuesday, August 8, Wednesday, August 9 and Friday, August 11 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. The shows will begin at dusk, with gates opening at 6:00 pm.

WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN?
The gates will open at 6:00 pm each show night.
WHAT TIME DO THE FIREWORKS START?
The fireworks will start at dusk each night. The exact time is up to the PGI members running the show.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes, space on and around the Red River Valley Fairgrounds has parking for $5.00 per night. Parking at the West Fargo Scheels Soccer Complex will be $10.00 per night.
Grills or open fires are NOT permitted.
CAN I BRING IN A LAWN CHAIR?
No, you may not bring in any type of lawn/folding chair. Seat cushions are acceptable.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Yes, the concessions stand, food vendors and beer garden will be open each show night. Outside food or drink is not permitted.
WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?
The Red River Valley Fair Association & Fairgrounds is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including E-cigarettes is only permitted outside the venue.
WILL MY BAG BE INSPECTED?
For safety reasons, the RRVFA reserves the right to inspect bags and other items brought into the grandstand. Coolers and outside food/beverage is not allowed. Exceptions are made for patrons with medical conditions that need to keep medications cooled. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.
HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets by clicking the “Buy Tickets” link on this page. Or you may purchase General Admission tickets at any area Petro Serve USA location.
You will be able to purchase tickets on site at the Box Office, located in front of the grandstand on show nights from Noon – show start. On Monday and Thursday, you will be able to purchase at the Box Office from Noon – 4:30 pm.
DOES MY CHILD NEED A TICKET?
Yes. Everyone, including children of all ages, needs to purchase a ticket.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE SEATING?
Yes, our grandstand is accessible to patrons with disabilities.
Between Section H & I, in our General Admission seating has wheelchair accessible seating. It is a first come, first serve space.
In the Reserved Seating – Section B has wheelchair accessible seating. Please call our office at 701-282-2200 to purchase tickets in Section B. These are limited to those with disabilities and a companion.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
All ticket sales are final. We do not accept any returns or offer refunds for any reason.
ARE THERE RAIN NIGHTS?
Yes. If you attend on Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday, the rain date show will be on Thursday, August 10. The rain date show for the Friday night show, will be Saturday, August 12.
