Back for 2017, the Pyrotechnics Guild International presents:
Kaleidoscope of Fire
The Red River Valley Fair will host the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention and fireworks show, which is one of the largest firework shows in the world.
The shows will take place on Sunday, August 6, Tuesday, August 8, Wednesday, August 9 and Friday, August 11 at the Red River Valley fairgrounds. The shows will begin at dusk, with gates opening at 6:00 pm.
General admission tickets for Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday are $15.00 and are available online and at local Petro Serve locations.
General admission tickets for Friday are $20.00 and are available online and at area FM Petro Serve USA locations.
Reserved seats are $65.00 and are available online only.
General Admission grandstand seating sections are: A, F, G, H, I, J & K
Reserved Seating grandstand seating sections are: B, C, D & E

MEDIA REQUESTS FOR PGI
The Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc., was founded in 1969 and is an independent worldwide nonprofit organization of amateur and professional fireworks enthusiasts. Its educational and scientific purposes are to promote the safe and responsible display and use of pyrotechnics and fireworks, encourage the display of public and private fireworks in conjunction with local and national holidays as well as patriotic and other events, promote the production and sale of high quality fireworks and channel the creative energies of talented people into the design, production and display of high quality fireworks by example of the membership and through the sharing of knowledge.

WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN?
The gates will open at 6:00 pm each show night.
WHAT TIME DO THE FIREWORKS START?
The fireworks will start at dusk each night. The exact time is up to the PGI members running the show.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes, space on and around the Red River Valley Fairgrounds has parking for $5.00 per night. Parking at the West Fargo Scheels Soccer Complex will be $10.00 per night.
CAN I BRING IN A LAWN CHAIR?
No, you may not bring in any type of lawn/folding chair. Seat cushions are acceptable.
Section E is the only section with backrests.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Yes, the concessions stand and beer garden will be open each show night.
WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?
The Red River Valley Fair Association & Fairgrounds is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including E-cigarettes is only permitted outside the venue.
WILL MY BAG BE INSPECTED?
For safety reasons, the RRVFA reserves the right to inspect bags and other items brought into the grandstand. Coolers and outside food/beverage is not allowed. Exceptions are made for patrons with medical conditions that need to keep medications cooled. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry.
HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets by clicking the “Buy Tickets” link on this page. Or you may purchase General Admission tickets at any area Petro Serve USA location.
You will be able to purchase tickets on site at the Box Office, located in front of the grandstand.
DOES MY CHILD NEED A TICKET?
Yes. Everyone, including children of all ages, needs to purchase a ticket.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE SEATING?
Yes, our grandstand is accessible to patrons with disabilities.
There is a section in our General Admission seating that is wheelchair accessible. It is a first come, first serve space.
In the Reserved Seating section, in Section B there is wheelchair accessible seating. Please call our office at 701-282-2200 to purchase tickets. These are limited to those with disabilities and a companion.
