WEST FARGO, N.D. – The Red River Valley Fair will host the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention and show, which is one of the largest firework shows in the world.
The convention will take place from August 5th – 11th. The 2017 theme is “Kaleidoscope of Fire” and the shows will take place on Sunday, August 6th, Tuesday, August 8th, Wednesday, August 9th and Friday, August 11th at the Red River Valley fairgrounds [located at 1805 Main Ave W., West Fargo]. The gates open at 6:00 pm, with the shows beginning at dusk each night.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, February 13th. General admission tickets for Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday are $15 and are available online and at local Petro Serve locations. General admission tickets for Friday are $20 and are available online and at local Petro Serve locations. Reserved seats for all four nights are $65 and are available online only.
The Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc., was founded in 1969 and is an independent worldwide nonprofit organization of amateur and professional fireworks enthusiasts. Its educational and scientific purposes are to promote the safe and responsible display and use of pyrotechnics and fireworks, encourage the display of public and private fireworks in conjunction with local and national holidays as well as patriotic and other events, promote the production and sale of high quality fireworks and channel the creative energies of talented people into the design, production and display of high quality fireworks by example of the membership and through the sharing of knowledge.
